Music and Arts at Calvary… Something for Everyone!
Here at Calvary, everyone participates in the creative, musical and artistic life of the church. Whether young or mature, professional or volunteer, experienced or novice… Whether singing from your pew or from the choir loft in worship, painting a wall or creating a piece of art for a bulletin cover, giving generously to support programming or the organ fund, attending special events and applauding enthusiastically in a concert… Whether signing up to help with specific tasks and projects, offering a word of encouragement, sharing an idea, or praying for our work and our people—we need you! Maybe you need us, too? Participating in Music and Arts at Calvary is a joyful, rich, fun and rewarding way to engage with the Calvary Community. Join us!

Unplugged Summer Worship Series
Each summer, the Calvary congregation leaves the Sanctuary space and moves next door to Palacios Chapel for a more casual, accessible worship style.
During Unplugged, volunteer musicians from the Calvary Community are invited to lead in worship. Do you love to sing, play an instrument, collaborate with others? Be sure to let us know! We’ll schedule you according to your availability.
Do you play an instrument? We want to know about it!
Throughout the year, we often have opportunities for instrumentalists, both as solo players or in ensemble. Do you play piano? A stringed instrument? A wind, reed or brass instrument? Guitar, banjo or bass? Percussion? You name it, and we’ll find a place of service for you!
Do you enjoy volunteering for tasks, projects or special events?
Do you have a skill or an area of expertise to share?
If you can serve on a committee, greet folks with a smile and hand out concert programs, prepare food and offer hospitality, help with publicity—anything! We can use your help throughout the year, so let us know if we can call on you!
Calvary’s 52-rank organ is the centerpiece of our worship space and our primary worship instrument.
